First, the working principle of "intermittent" drying tunnel

The continuous drying tunnel is a continuous operation of the chain with a steel drum in the drying tunnel to dry the steel drum. In the fixed oven, the steel drum is placed in the drying room, and then the drying room door is closed for drying. So-called. The intermittent “drying tunnel” is the principle of using the continuous drying tunnel at the beginning. The chain is continuously fed into the drying tunnel with a steel drum. After about 5 minutes, the furnace door is closed. The other chain moves in the opposite direction to make the steel drum The inside of the drying tunnel is rotated in place and uniformly dried. The drying time is adjusted according to the furnace temperature or the drying condition. The steel drum is sent out of the drying tunnel by the continuous drying method, and is simultaneously introduced. A steel drum to be dried is installed at the mouth, and a cycle is completed.

As can be seen from the schematic diagram, the main drive chain 4 is driven by the speed reducer 1, and a ratchet mechanism 5 is provided at one end of the main drive shaft to prevent the main chain from moving in the opposite direction. Similarly, the auxiliary drive chain 6 does not have the same mechanism. This ensures that when the main drive chain drives the steel drum to walk (the auxiliary chain does not move), when the sprocket rolls along the auxiliary chain, the barrel is rolled to achieve uniform heating of the barrel. In the same way, when the auxiliary chain 6 moves, the main chain 4 does not move, and the steel drum rotates, that is, the ideal requirement is reached <:)

Second, the application of "intermittent" drying tunnel

1. The “intermittent” drying tunnel is used for drying the steel drum before it is sprayed. The main purpose is to heat the steel drum to increase the adhesion of the paint; to remove water vapor from the barrel to prevent rust in the barrel during storage. The auxiliary chain is closed, and the continuous drying can be directly performed, and the furnace temperature is adjusted to achieve the desired drying effect.

2. Drying after painting or painting can be done by continuous drying before painting.

3. Drying (PVF baking) sprayed in steel drums. Since the viscosity of PVF is small, flammable volatiles such as dimethyl ester are released during the baking process, so the furnace temperature is required to be about 280 ° C, and the exhaust vent is opened. Since the volatile components such as dimethyl ester are flammable, there should be no open flame in the furnace, the temperature is adjusted according to the baking condition, and the time of the furnace and the speed of the furnace are adjusted. The closing time of 200L steel drum is determined according to the furnace temperature and drying conditions. It does not exceed 10 minutes when entering or leaving the furnace, and can be adjusted according to different conditions.

The baking time of the inner spraying steel drum is to add the coating preheating section, and an exhaust vent can be opened at this time. When the furnace is closed, it is the volatilization section of the coating latent solvent, at which time all three exhaust vents can be opened. When the furnace is opened, the air outlets at both ends are closed and a cycle is connected.
