Why can't duplicates completely restore originals?

1 The difference between a transmission original and a reflective print. Transmission originals are viewed using transmitted light, while prints are viewed using reflected light. Viewing light sources differ in their quality.

Even in the case of prints that reflect the original copy, there is a gap in the density range.

4 Consecutive tone levels and screening levels are different. The transmission manuscript is a continuous layer, which is composed of layers of fine dye particles, and the printed matter is composed of printed dots. There is a certain gap between the two in terms of tone adjustment.

5 transparent, reflective visual effects are different. Observing transmissive originals under natural light and artificial light sources has a very different effect, so observing originals and printed samples are ideal under fluorescent lamps with a color temperature of 5000K and a color rendering index of 92 or higher under standard light sources. The color rendering effect is also different depending on the lighting environment.
