In 1998, the Management Center for Mountaineering of the State General Administration of Sport issued the “Administrative Measures for the Registration of Representatives of Rock Climbers Participating in National Competitions†[Teng Dengzi (1998) 055]. As the rock climbing exercise was widely carried out in China, the form of the movement took place. With great changes, climbing, ice climbing, climbing buildings, climbing ropes and other commercial activities centered on climbing emerged in an endless stream, which disrupted the market to some extent. In order to strengthen the management of rock climbing and rock climbing projects and various types of competition activities, the following additional regulations are stipulated for the “Road Climbing Athletes Participating in the National Register of Representatives for Registration Management Regulationsâ€:
1. Registered athletes are eligible to participate in various national or regional climbing competitions sponsored by all China Mountaineering Associations of the year.
2. Participation in national or inter-provincial and regional climbing competitions (events) organized by clubs of provinces and cities or industry associations must be submitted to the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration 20 days in advance. The Mountaineering Management Center will be based on the events (events). ) The nature of the reply is given within 7 days of receipt of the application.
3. Participate in rock climbing and related climbing competitions (activities) without making any proposals or without approval, and give punishments for warnings, bans for one year and bans for life.
4. This Supplementary Provision shall be implemented as of the date of issue.
