Profile: Takahashi Sunami was born in Toyama, Japan in 1952, graduated from Osaka University of Fine Arts in 1974, established KOKOKUMARU in 1984, exhibited posters in Zurich, Switzerland in 1990, taught at the Osaka Art School from 1990 to 1992, and moved to Osaka in 1994. The Center for Modern Art participates in the "Today's Design House Exhibition". In 1996, it held a solo exhibition at Osaka Gallery and participated in the "90s Graphic Design Exhibition" held in Hamburg, Germany. In 1998, it worked as a judge at the Chinese Shinsen Design Exhibition, and in 2000 in China. Participated in "Shanghai-Osaka 2000 Design Exhibition" and Beijing's "IGD2000 in China" and gave lectures. In 2001, he participated in the printing exhibition at MOST Gallery in Tokyo. Takahashi Shotano is currently a member of the Japan Graphic Designers Association and the Japan Printing Association. His works have won silver and bronze awards at the New York Artists Association and the New York Festival. Some of his works have also been selected for the Toyama International Poster Triennial, the Warsaw International Poster Biennale, the Czech Brno Graphic Design Biennale, and UNESCO. Organize poster exhibitions, etc., and collect for the Gestaltung Museum of Zurich, the Kunst & Gewerbe Museum of Hamburg, the Mt. Fuji Museum of Modern Art, the Suntory Museum of Art, and the Osaka Museum of Modern Art.
