Polaris video live broadcast system successfully applied to Fengxian Xinjian Road Primary School

Fengxian Xinjian Road Primary School, a key elementary institution under the Fengxian County Cultural and Educational Bureau, was established in September 1965. During the Cultural Revolution, it was briefly renamed “Shuangshipu Hongxing Primary School,” but soon reverted to its original name. The school has 44 staff members, including 43 teachers. Among them, 27 hold college degrees or higher, while 16 have secondary education qualifications, ensuring a 100% qualification rate. There are 14 senior teachers, 28 first-level teachers, and one second-level teacher. In addition, 16 young teachers are under 35 years old, and 21 are between 36 and 49. The school also boasts one provincial-level special teacher, eight city-level teaching experts, and 22 county-level teaching experts (including municipal level), making up 51.1% of the total teaching staff. The school consistently prioritizes teaching as its core mission, focusing on cultivating students' creativity and practical skills. It actively participates in curriculum reform, strengthens daily teaching management, deepens classroom instruction, implements the curriculum plan, and enforces teaching reforms. The school closely monitors teaching quality and promotes comprehensive quality education, striving to achieve the motto: "The best is temporary, but better is eternal." Adhering to the principle of "three complete and two special," the school emphasizes all-round development in morality, intelligence, and aesthetics, ensuring that every student receives quality education. With distinct characteristics in overall improvement, students develop unique strengths alongside their general growth. The school maintains a well-organized management system, advanced educational concepts, a rigorous teaching style, and a positive school atmosphere. These efforts have led to remarkable achievements that have been widely praised by the local community. The customer’s signal sources include high-definition cameras, DVDs, PCs, and other input devices, with audio coming from a mixer. The terminal devices are PCs, projectors, and interactive whiteboards in 60 classrooms, which will be used to watch high-definition video signals over the network. Currently, the customer has high-definition cameras capable of outputting HDMI/SDI signals, along with DVD players and PCs that support receiving and displaying content on projectors or screens. A network environment and corresponding switch equipment are already in place. To meet the customer's needs, we selected the Aoku HD encoder to capture and encode the HD video signal from the camera. The encoded signal is then sent to the Aku Cool Streaming Media Server AMS (Basic Education Edition). After collecting the signal from the Aoku encoder, the streaming media server distributes and stores the content, enabling PCs and projectors in single or multiple classrooms to receive and view the video through a fast and stable education private network. This solution offers several advantages. First, it ensures future scalability—when more signal sources are needed, only additional encoders need to be added. Second, the implementation is quick, requiring only network cabling without any extra wiring. Third, the AOKU HT9001 HD encoder supports audio capture, and both the decoder and streaming server support audio channels, allowing for synchronized audio and video transmission. Fourth, the streaming media server can record computer-broadcasted signals and support scalable applications. Lastly, the system allows direct access to the server via networked PCs or mobile devices. **Required Equipment:** - **Software Platform:** Aoku Stream Media Network Video Live System Software (AOKU Media Server V5.0) – Abbreviated as AMS *Description:* Installed on the streaming media server, this software provides live video, recording, video on demand, and web access services. *Quantity:* 1 set - **Hardware Platform:** Aoku 1U rack-mounted high-definition network video live broadcast machine (AOKU HT9001) *Description:* This device captures and encodes HD SDI or HDMI signals, providing live broadcasts in RTMP format and transmitting them to the streaming media server via the network. *Quantity:* 1 set **System Topology:** [Image: System architecture diagram showing the connection between the encoder, streaming server, and classroom devices.]
