(1) The paper used for making hardcover (or wire-bound) covers is light, loose and flat gray-white cardboard according to the standard requirements
(2) The water content in the cardboard should be kept at about 8%, and at most not more than 12%.
(3) Cardboard with a short production (or purchase) time should be stored in a room before use, generally more than half a year. Because the newly produced paperboard is large and poor in flexibility, it is easily deformed after cutting. After a certain period of time according to the correct storage method, the paperboard can be flat and neatly processed
(4) The storage conditions and methods of cardboard are the same as those of paper, but pay attention to the normality and balance of the moisture content in the upper and lower cardboard stacks when pouring the warehouse.
