In the process of contact with consumers, designers bypass the company, provide design services directly, and introduce the construction team and the main material supplier, which is often referred to as the “private order”. Some insiders said: "It is too common to accept private orders. This is not an industry problem, but an industry phenomenon." A cabinet company designer also revealed to reporters: "Many designers are picking up private orders, and some designers are completely It’s not an industry secret to rely on private orders and eat back kicks to survive."

It is understood that in the home improvement industry such as cabinets, designers are generally divided into two situations. One kind of way for consumers to find designers through friends and other channels, and ask them to provide design services; the other is for designers to grasp the consumer information through the enterprise, take the initiative to contact, and attract consumers with the advantage of low price.

A number of business leaders said that it is the consumer's interest to receive the private order. Zhang Yi, deputy director of marketing of Shichuang Decoration, said: “The services provided by the private orders are completely based on the individual abilities and ethics of the designers. The designer’s ability is insufficient, the construction problems, the rebates from the main material merchants, and even disappear after taking the money. It’s entirely possible.”

Zhang Yi said: "The designers of some enterprises have received private orders outside. As a result, there are problems during construction. Consumers demand compensation from enterprises. If they are ignored, they will have a great impact on the reputation of the company. The company has to clean up the mess for the designers." The person in charge of the cabinet brand said: "After the private work, the designer uses the enterprise resources he has mastered to provide the decoration team for the consumers, introduces the main material brand, and extracts the commission. In the enterprise process, this is the interest part of the enterprise. Therefore, once the designer picks up the private work, it also harms the interests of the company."
