Postscript language

The widespread application of the IBM desktop computer in 1982 and the appearance of Apple Computer in Apple in two years later provided the development prerequisites for the digitization of printing. Postscript language (Adobe) appeared in 1985 and soon triggered the subsequent desktop publishing system. Postscript Level 2 appeared in 1991. With the digitization of typesetting and design in desktop publishing, printing has also begun to be performed by computers.
