PDF comparisons and PDF merges are two new and innovative tools that can significantly reduce the time and cost required for the correction process in the packaging workflow. In the preparation of a single-page manuscript, temporary modifications are often encountered, which will lead to a re-production of the document to be printed. The PDF comparison and PDF merge functions provide a simple solution to this problem: the prepress operator compares two files, extracts all production jobs (traps, screening, overprint settings, etc.) on the original file, and merges them.
