KraussMaffei Launches High Performance Injection Molding Machine at Chinaplas2006

At Chinaplas 2006, April 26-29, 2006, KraussMaffei (Booth W1J51) will exhibit competitive hydraulic and electric compound driven injection molding technologies - compounded by the KM 35/100 CX series. An injection molding machine and an injection molding system consisting of a clean class 100 clean room produce blood syringes for transfusion.

Fully hydraulic clamping unit, double template design without lever or hydraulic piston is the biggest difference from competitors. The machine has the features of easy installation and high cleanliness. The high-efficiency electric injection unit guarantees injection accuracy of 0.03% while ensuring minimum energy consumption. The molds are supplied by KraussMaffei China Partner Elite Mold ACE, whereby KraussMaffei and Elite Mold will demonstrate to the Chinese market their ability to provide system solutions for the plastics processing industry.

In addition to highlighting the CX series hybrid injection molding machines, KraussMaffei will also exhibit small-tonnage CX series injection molding machines. High efficiency, precision and flexibility make it best suited for low-cost, high-specification injection molding.

In addition, KraussMaffei will also present a new top-of-the-line KMD 75-36/R twin-screw extruder. This series of extruders incorporates components manufactured by KraussMaffei Extrusion Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. and are tailor-made to meet the special requirements of the Asian PVC pipe market. It also includes a new high-quality extrusion system, targeting vacuum sizing boxes and spray boxes in the Asian market, and parts of the products are also sourced and produced in China. In the field of pipe extrusion applications, the 36D top twin screw extruder can achieve very high throughput.
